Turn Future Transactions ON when you want MoneyCoach to include upcoming transactions in the numbers you use for planning.
This is useful if you already add future-dated bills, repeating expenses, upcoming income, or scheduled transfers and want to see their effect before the date arrives.

Step-by-step guide
- Open MoneyCoach
- Go to Settings
- Tap General
- Scroll to the Transactions section
- Turn Future Transactions ON
Now MoneyCoach will show and calculate future-dated transactions in the parts of the app that support this setting.
Benefits of turning it on
With Future Transactions ON, MoneyCoach can give you a more forward-looking view of your money. This helps when you want to understand what your balance, budget, or report may look like after upcoming transactions are included.
It is especially useful for:
- Planning around fixed monthly bills
- Seeing upcoming income and expenses earlier
- Understanding how scheduled transactions affect account balances
- Checking budgets with future spending already considered
- Reviewing reports with future-dated transactions included
What it does not do
Future Transactions does not automatically create new transactions. It also does not change the date of an existing transaction.
It only controls whether transactions that already have a future date are included in calculations before that date arrives.
When to turn it off again
If you ever want MoneyCoach to show a stricter today-only view, turn Future Transactions OFF. Future-dated transactions can still exist, but MoneyCoach will not count them in calculations until their date arrives.
