Local data access

Built around privacy and useful finance queries

Live MoneyCoach data

The MCP helper reads the live local MoneyCoach store, so compatible clients can analyze current accounts, budgets, goals, subscriptions, and transactions.

Read-only by design

V1 does not create transactions, edit data, trigger sync, or expose a remote server. Queries stay local on the Mac.

Works with assistant clients

Use the generated setup config with compatible clients such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, and local setups like Ollama.

Search and summarize

Ask for spending by account, category, subcategory, payee, description, date range, and future transaction inclusion.
