Future Transactions controls whether transactions dated after today are included in MoneyCoach calculations right away.
Turn it OFF when you want your current balances, budgets, reports, and summary cards to reflect only transactions that have already happened. Future-dated transactions can still appear in MoneyCoach, but they are not counted until their date arrives.
TL;DR
- Open Settings / General.
- Find Future Transactions in the Transactions section.
- Turn Future Transactions OFF.
- Future-dated entries stay in MoneyCoach.
- Supported calculations count them only when their date arrives.

Step-by-step guide
- Open MoneyCoach
- Go to Settings
- Tap General
- Scroll to the Transactions section
- Turn Future Transactions OFF
That's it. MoneyCoach will stop calculating transactions dated after today until those transactions become due.
What changes when it is off
When Future Transactions is OFF, MoneyCoach excludes future-dated transactions from the places where the app calculates your money, including:
- Account balances
- Budgets
- Reports
- Credit card details
- Overview and summary-style calculations
This setting does not delete future transactions and it does not stop repeating transactions from existing. It only changes whether future-dated transactions are included in calculations before their date arrives.
When to keep it off
Keep Future Transactions OFF if you want MoneyCoach to behave like a current-balance view. This is useful when you want to know what is true today, without planned bills, upcoming income, or scheduled transfers changing the numbers early.
For example, if today is May 15 and you have a bill dated May 23, that bill will not affect your calculated balance while the toggle is OFF. On May 23, it becomes part of the normal calculations.
