You can help improve MoneyCoach translations by downloading our CSV template, adding one correction per row, and sending the completed file back to MoneyCoach Support.

What the CSV columns mean

The template contains three columns:

  • current(wrong) — Required. Copy the incorrect or unclear text exactly as it currently appears in MoneyCoach.
  • updated(fixed) — Required. Enter the corrected translation exactly as it should appear.
  • comment — Optional. Add useful context, such as the screen where the text appears or why the current wording is incorrect.

For example:

Step-by-step guide

  1. Download the CSV template.
  2. Open it with Numbers, Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet app.
  3. Keep the three column names unchanged.
  4. Add one translation correction per row.
  5. Copy the current MoneyCoach text exactly, including punctuation and capitalization.
  6. Enter the corrected translation in the updated(fixed) column.
  7. Use the optional comment column when the location or intended meaning is not obvious.
  8. Save or export the completed file as a UTF-8 CSV.
  9. Attach the CSV to a MoneyCoach support ticket and mention which language you corrected.

Tips for useful translation corrections

  • Keep each correction focused on one piece of text.
  • Preserve placeholders, numbers, and symbols unless they are part of the problem.
  • Add the screen name in comment when the same text could appear in several places.
  • Do not include account names, transaction details, or other personal financial information.
  • If layout is part of the issue, include a screenshot with your support ticket as separate context.

If you only want to use MoneyCoach in another supported language, follow How To Change The Language. If you want to translate a MoneyCoach website tutorial for your own reading, see How To Translate Tutorials In Your Language.
