To connect your bank account in MoneyCoach, open the bank linking flow, confirm the privacy information, choose your country, select your bank, and complete the secure authentication session from your bank.
Before you start: Online Banking availability depends on your country, bank, and MoneyCoach plan. Check the Online Banking page first to see the supported countries and availability details before starting the connection flow.

Step-by-step guide
- Open the Accounts tab.
- Tap the + button.
- Choose Link Bank Account.
- Review the privacy screen. MoneyCoach shows that the connection is secure, private, and hosted in the EU.
- Tap Continue.
- If MoneyCoach asks you to sign in first, complete the sign-in step and continue.
- On Select Country, choose your country or region. If your country is not supported yet, tap Cannot find your country? or vote for it here.
- On Select your bank, search by bank name, BIC, or BLZ.
- Tap your bank from the results list. If you cannot find it, use Request a new bank.
- Review the bank information screen and tap Connect.
- Complete the secure authentication session from your bank. Depending on the bank, this may involve your bank login, app approval, SMS code, or another verification method.
- Keep MoneyCoach open while it shows the connection status. The app will process the callback and prepare the connected accounts.
- When you see Connection successful!, tap Complete setup.
Important Details
MoneyCoach opens the bank authentication flow in a secure authentication session. Follow the bank's instructions and do not close MoneyCoach while the connection status screen is working.
After the bank approves the connection, MoneyCoach may need a little time to fetch the account data. The connection screen can show progress while account details become available.
MoneyCoach imports up to 90 days of transactions from the connected accounts and starts categorizing them after setup is complete.
To use Online Banking, you need an active MoneyCoach Premium plan. Premium lets you connect up to 4 bank or financial account logins. Premium Max lets you connect up to 8. Each separate login counts as one connection, including multiple logins from the same bank or provider.
Online Banking is available in selected European regions. If your country or bank is not available yet, check the Online Banking page and vote for your country.
