Steps
Import CSV… maps account values from the file; Import CSV to Existing Account… sends all imported rows to one existing account. Apple Card statements have a separate import option.
- Open Settings > Import & Export.
- Choose Import CSV… to map account values from the file, or Import CSV to Existing Account… if every row belongs in one existing account.
- Select the CSV file from the file picker.
- For Import CSV…, map the required account, category, date, and amount fields. Import CSV to Existing Account… supplies the account automatically; category, date, and amount are still required.
- Map transaction type and other optional fields when your file contains them.
- Tap Import and let MoneyCoach finish processing the file, then review the imported transactions.
Transfers
For transfer rows, use the Transfer category or its localized name. Set the transaction type to Expense for the sending-account row and Income for the receiving-account row, then review both entries after import.
