Today is a big day for MoneyCoach. We are releasing MoneyCoach 11 on Day 1 for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS26, macOS 26 and visionOS 26.
This update brings a lot of new features and improvements. Here's what's new:
All-new Liquid Glass design
We've redesigned the entire app to use a new Liquid Glass design. This new design is more modern and sleek, and it's easier to use. The Overview cards have never looked better and the excellent new zoom transitions when tapping on the cards are a joy to use.
Oh, and the new Liquid Glass icon looks sick, doesn't it?
MoneyCoach AI Inssights
Using the newly introduced Foundation Models we built MoneyCoach AI. This is a new way to get personalized financial advice and insights based on your financial data. This resides at the top of the Overview and is available for all users who own an iPhone 15 Pro and newer, Mac computers with M1 chips or later, and iPads with M1 chips or later. Basically, all users who have access to Apple Intelligence.
This is a new step for MoneyCoach. It's not just a regular AI assistant, but a truly personalized financial assistant that will help you understand your financial data and make better financial decisions. And we've only just begun!
PS: Keep in mind that the AI might get a bit confused sometimes, so please don't take what it says with a grain of salt.
Online Banking for EU users
We have been working on this for a long time. If you've been already using MoneyCoach, in v.10.5 we soft-launched this feature for all EU users. And since then we've been working hard to improve it and with MoneyCoach 11 we have supercharged it with MoneyCoach AI. The automatic categorization is now even better and the app is faster than ever. You can read more about this feature in our blog.
In this update, we've also added support for deleting transactions in an online bank account.
All-new Mascot
Gone with the old mascot, hello with the new one! He is now 3D, more modern and sleek, and looks amazing on the new Liquid Glass design. We've also added a ton of variations of the new mascot in the AI Insights section and we hope you love him as much as we do.
Apple Vision Pro widgets
Finally, we have added support for Apple Vision Pro widgets. This is a new way to get a quick overview of your financial data on your Apple Vision Pro. And boy, do they look amazing when placed on the walls around your room!
Other changes
- We've improved the performance of the app and the sync process
- We've fixed many small bugs and improved the overall user experience
- Added a couple of new icons
Important Note
As MoneyCoach evolves and becomes better with each iteration, as we support new API and implement new features, that means that we are forced to leave some things behind. Having said all that, we had to drop the support for devices running iOS 16 or older.
Future Roadmap
While MoneyCoach 11 is a major update, we have big plans for the future. We are working on a lot of new features and improvements that will make MoneyCoach even better. Here's what to expect:
- Improvements to Online Banking such as allowing you to mark transactions as transfers across accounts, identify recurring transactions and much more
- Improvements to the AI Insights, more helpful and personalized insights and less halucinations
- All-new Category and Subcategory Picker when adding new transactions
- All-new Icon Picker when creating new categories and accounts
- Budgets 2.0 and I'll leave it at that 😉
- Improvements to all of the existing reports in terms of design and functionality
- Multi-currency Goals
