How To Export Transactions As CSV In MoneyCoach

Export MoneyCoach data as CSV when you want spreadsheet-friendly transaction rows for Numbers, Excel, Google Sheets, tax preparation, or your own reporting.

TL;DR

  • Use Settings / Import & Export for full or advanced exports.
  • Use the More menu from Accounts or Transactions for context-specific exports.
  • Use report export when you want the exact report view as CSV.
  • CSV exports do not include settings, attachments, customizations, or budgets.

Export all transaction data

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Import & Export.
  3. Tap Export Data.
  4. Use the share sheet to save, AirDrop, or send the CSV file.

This exports the transaction data you have added to MoneyCoach since you started using the app.

Advanced Export as CSV

Use Advanced Export when you need more control over the exported file.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Import & Export.
  3. In the Advanced Export section, tap Export as CSV.
  4. Select the accounts you want to include.
  5. Choose whether transfers should be included.
  6. Select the period or custom date range.
  7. Tap Done.
  8. Use the share sheet to save or send the CSV file.

Other CSV export locations

Export accounts

  1. Open the Accounts card from Overview or open Accounts.
  2. Tap the More button.
  3. Choose Export as CSV.
  4. Save or share the file from the share sheet.

This export includes account-level information such as balance, multi-currency balance, and currency.

Export transactions for one account

  1. Open Accounts.
  2. Tap the account you want to inspect.
  3. Tap the More button.
  4. Choose Export as CSV.
  5. Save or share the file from the share sheet.

Export all visible transactions

  1. Open Transactions.
  2. Tap the More button.
  3. Choose Export as CSV.
  4. Save or share the file from the share sheet.

Export report data

  1. Open Reports.
  2. Open Transactions by Category or another supported report.
  3. Apply any filters you need.
  4. Tap the share button.
  5. Choose Export as CSV.
  6. Save or share the file from the share sheet.

The export follows the report view and filters you selected.

Additional information

CSV exports are best for analysis and spreadsheet workflows. If you need a cleaner document for sharing with a tax advisor, partner, or client, use PDF export.
