If you stop using MoneyCoach and want to delete your account and data, you can do it directly inside the app. MoneyCoach uses Sign in with Apple for your MoneyCoach account, while iCloud Sync is managed separately in your private iCloud storage.
We value your privacy
MoneyCoach is built around Apple platforms and your financial data remains under your control. Your MoneyCoach data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud Sync, in your private iCloud storage so it can sync across your devices.
Your MoneyCoach account is created with Sign in with Apple. Signing in does not automatically enable iCloud Sync, and deleting your account is separate from removing any MoneyCoach data that may still exist in iCloud.
In some rare instances, we might ask you to send us your data so that we can check and analyse it to see if there's something wrong. This is optional and it's up to you to decide if you want to share your data with us.
Delete your MoneyCoach account
To delete your MoneyCoach account:
- Open MoneyCoach.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Manage Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- In the confirmation sheet, type delete account.
- Tap Delete everything and complete the Sign in with Apple confirmation when prompted.
This deletes your MoneyCoach account and starts the in-app data removal flow.
Remove MoneyCoach data from iCloud
If you used iCloud Sync, also remove the MoneyCoach sync data from iCloud:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Data & Sync.
- Tap Reset Data.
- Tap Remove data from iCloud.
- Confirm Remove data from iCloud.
This removes the MoneyCoach data stored for iCloud Sync. The app explains that local data remains intact when this action runs, so finish by deleting the app from your device if you no longer want MoneyCoach data on that device.
Delete the app
After deleting your account and removing iCloud data, delete MoneyCoach from your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or any other device where you installed it.
If you use MoneyCoach on multiple devices, repeat the iCloud/data cleanup from the device where you still have access to the app, then remove the app from each device.
