MoneyCoach Live Activities can show live transaction-related information on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. If you prefer MoneyCoach to stay quieter outside the app, turn Live Activities off from iPhone Settings.
Step-by-step guide
- Go to your iPhone Settings (not MoneyCoach’s Settings)
- Scroll until you find MoneyCoach and tap it
- Turn OFF the Live Activities switch
Now, once you add a new transaction in MoneyCoach, you will not see the Live Activity or the Dynamic Island widget. To reactivate the function back, turn the Live Activities switch "ON".
When to turn it off
Turn Live Activities off if:
- You do not want finance information visible on the Lock Screen.
- You prefer fewer Dynamic Island updates.
- You use MoneyCoach in public and want a quieter setup.
- You want to reduce nonessential on-screen activity.
Additional information
This setting is controlled by iOS, not inside MoneyCoach. Turning it off does not delete transactions, categories, budgets, or any other MoneyCoach data.
