
Adding a repeating transaction or transfer in MoneyCoach lets the app keep regular money movements organized for you. Use it for fixed costs, subscriptions, salary, rent, utilities, recurring debt payments, or regular savings transfers.
TL;DR
- Start from the floating + button on Overview.
- Create the transaction or transfer as usual.
- Tap the Repeating button in the bottom bar.
- Turn on Recurring in Repeating Details.
- Choose the frequency, start date, optional end date, and reminders.
- Save the entry.

- Tap the floating "+" button in the Overview.
- Choose Expense or Income from the segmented control at the top.
- Enter the amount, account, category, and any details you need.
- Tap the Repeating button in the bottom bar. It uses a circular arrow icon.
- In Repeating Details, turn on Recurring.
- Choose the Repeating Frequency.
- Set the From date. This is when the repeating schedule starts.
- Set Until if the repeating transaction should stop on a specific date, or leave it as Forever.
- Turn on Reminders if you want MoneyCoach to notify you before the bill is due. Reminders require Premium.
- Tap Done to close Repeating Details.
- Tap Save to save the transaction.
Add a repeating transfer
- Tap the floating "+" button in the Overview.
- Switch to Transfer from the segmented control at the top.
- Enter the amount.
- Select the Sender account and the Receiver account.
- Tap the Repeating button in the bottom bar.
- Turn on Recurring and choose the frequency, start date, optional end date, and reminders.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Save to save the repeating transfer.
Repeating transfers work well for automatic savings, moving money into a goal account, paying a credit card from a checking account, or any other regular movement between accounts.
When to use repeating entries
Use repeating entries for anything that happens on a predictable schedule:
- Rent or mortgage payments.
- Subscriptions.
- Salary or allowance.
- Utility bills.
- Insurance payments.
- Regular savings transfers.
- Credit card payments.
For salary-based payday setup, create your salary as a repeating income first, then select it in Payday Settings.
Additional information
